How to work with Awe Reads
We work with authors, experts and companies. You can write articles under your own name, propose a partner article, or become an author on behalf of a company. The rules are the same for everyone: every text is checked and edited before it goes live, and any connection to a company is visible to the reader from the start.
Three ways to work together
Become an author
Write articles under your own name. You get a public author page, and every text goes through review and editing before it is published.
Apply as an authorPartnerships and placements
Propose a piece or a collaboration from a company or project. Partner articles are published with a label, and links to the partner are marked honestly.
Propose a partnershipAuthor on behalf of a company
After the first successful pieces, a partner can become an author and publish under their own name. The profile always states which company they represent.
Start with an application
How to become an author
- 1Application. Tell us about yourself and the topics you want to write about on the "Work with us" page.
- 2Approval. We review the application and, if approved, give the author role to your account. So please apply while signed in. If we need details, we will write to the email you provided.
- 3The text. You write an original article and send it through the form on the site. If needed, you send a short outline first.
- 4Review. The editors check facts and sources, edit the text for clarity and send you their comments. Nothing is published without editorial approval.
- 5Publication. The article is published under your name, and all your pieces are collected on your profile.
Partner articles
If you want to tell Awe Reads readers about your product or project, there are two formats. In both, you send the text and our editors review it before publication.
- Partner article (paid). Published with a clear "Partner content" label and one link to your site marked rel="sponsored". Terms and price are discussed individually.
- Educational article (free). A practical, neutral guide without product promotion. Published under the author's real name, with no link to your site, or at most one link marked nofollow.
If you write on behalf of a company
An author who represents a company publishes under their own name, and their profile and the author card under the article state: "Company representative". This lets the reader always see whose interests a piece may reflect. The link to the company in the profile is marked sponsored and nofollow.
Rules for every piece
- Originality. The text is written for Awe Reads: not published elsewhere before and not republished elsewhere in identical form afterwards.
- Confirmation. Every claim, number and quote has a source we can open. Quotes are accurate and given in context.
- Length. From 1,000 to 3,000 words, with a clear title, short paragraphs and subheadings. Please attach the list of sources and images.
- Independence. We may edit the text, ask for changes, or decline it if we cannot verify the facts. We make no promises about search rankings and do not change our assessments for a partner.
- Openness. Partner pieces are labelled, links to partners are marked, and an author's connection to a company is visible in the profile.
